Trail Running calendar near Pandy 2026-2027

A 12 hour Backyard Ultra on a 4.2 mile loop near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains, mixing trail and tarmac. Medals are awarded for 32 miles and trophies go to the first placed male and female on the final lap.

A single-stage trail run of about 47 miles along the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Painswick. The very hilly course follows public rights of way, allows 15 hours to finish, and offers GPX, support stations and medical cover.

An hourly-loop endurance event in Wyre Forest where runners repeat a 6.7 km forest loop until the last runner remains or 24 hours elapse; wooden medals are given to all and a wooden trophy to the overall winner.

Approximately 102 miles along the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Bath on 19–20 September 2026. Single stage trail event with live tracking, food stations, medical support and 32 hours to complete.

Trail and ruck run event at Cannock Chase Forest on 19 September 2026 offering 5 km and 10 km ruck runs with weighted packs and a solo challenge. Live chip timing, merchandise for finishers and prizes for top competitors.

A 23 mile trail race on the Quantock Hills where runners compete against horses, plus a Pegasus Challenge four person relay. The event is in Over Stowey on 19 September 2026 with free parking and an age limit of 14 and over.

Fan Brycheiniog is a 15.5 km mountain race in Glyntawe with 840 m of climb. The course runs over rough tracks and open fell and requires navigation and competent mountain skills.

Run Wytham Woods offers a 5K, 10K and one mile family run through Wytham Great Wood, with uphill and downhill sections and views towards Oxford. The event is organised by the Eynsham community and will return in 2027.

Experience a multi terrain 10k run through the beautiful South Staffordshire countryside. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and homemade cakes in the heart of Brewood village square.

A 10 km trail running event at Cannock Chase on 20 September 2026, organized by Wild Deer Events. Entry is listed at £27 and tickets were made available from 18 December 2025.

A scenic, hilly trail half marathon in the Cothi valley near Pumsaint, offering a 13 mile race, a 6.5 mile alternative and a kids race, based at Pumsaint Village Hall on 20 September 2026.

One More Lap for Kids' Village is an in-person team event on 20 September 2026 at Stowe Field in Lichfield. Team entries are listed as free and the event is organised by One More Lap.

A long running trail race in the Doone Valley, Exmoor covering about 16 km (10 miles) over scenic but hilly terrain. The 37th edition limits entries to 250, requires entrants to be at least 16 and uses chip timing.

Three coastal trail races on 26 September 2026 around the Gower Peninsula offer routes of 50, 34 and 23 miles along cliffs, bays and coastal paths. The event is self navigated with checkpoints, GPS tracking and coach transfers to starts.

A forest running event in Warwickshire on 26 September 2026 with a 27 miles marathon and a 20 miles short course. Routes run through early autumn woodland with staffed checkpoints and proceeds supporting the Heart of England Forest.

MacTuffX Swansea at Neath Sports Centre on 26 September 2026 combines ten Xercises with runs over Classic or Double distances. Entries are available in Solo, Doubles and Relay categories, with an optional LITE weight division.

A community fell race in the Ceiriog Valley on 26 September 2026, covering 11.6 km with 425 m ascent. Entry on the day; refreshments, showers and changing facilities are provided at Canolfan Ceiriog Centre.

A five-lap ultramarathon in Berkeley, Gloucestershire across 25-27 September 2026, covering about 130 miles and 15,000 ft of ascent with a 24 hour cut off and 120 places, organized from Hamfields Leisure with camping and tracking included.

Three community races at Harcourt Hill on 26 Sep 2026 from a 10k off road course to a 1k fun run, organised by the 4th Oxford Scout Group with medals, prizes and water stations for participants.

Guto Nyth Bran is a 9.6 km fell race near Caerphilly with 396 m of climb on a partially marked course. It takes place in late September, has a short walk from parking to the start, and charges £6 online or £8 on the day.
