The Cotswold Way Century is a non-stop trail running event covering 102 miles (approximately 164 km). The route follows the Cotswold Way National Trail from Chipping Campden to Bath. The event is a single-stage race with a 32-hour time limit. Participants start in Chipping Campden at the Village Hall.

Course Details

The course uses public rights of way with no road closures. Route navigation primarily relies on existing Cotswold Way markers (an acorn symbol), with occasional additional markings near checkpoints. The terrain is described as very hilly, featuring viewpoints and villages. It includes some road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths, and ploughed fields. The total distance may be subject to change due to official trail diversions.

Participant Information

The minimum age for entry is 21. Entry fees apply, with a slight discount for UK Athletics members. The event includes live tracking, a GPX file of the route, food stations, medical support, and a finisher's buckle. An additional sub-24-hour buckle is awarded. Optional purchases include a technical t-shirt, hoodie, and professional photos. An optional extra called XCover is available for refund protection under unforeseen circumstances.
