Cotswold Way Century

The Cotswold Way Century is a single stage trail running event held Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 September 2026. The course is approximately 102 miles, following the Cotswold Way National Trail from Chipping Campden to Bath. The start is at Chipping Campden Village Hall and the route follows existing Cotswold Way markers (the acorn); occasional additional markings may be added near checkpoints or where the route has more than one option.

The course runs along public rights of way and includes frequent climbs and descents to reach viewpoints and villages. Surfaces include short road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and ploughed fields. There are no road closures for the event so participants and supporters must respect road regulations on sections that are not on trails. Official diversions may alter the overall distance.

Participants are allowed 32 hours to complete the course, with intermediate cut offs along the way. The minimum age on the event date is 21. Entry includes a race number and live tracking, a full route GPX, food stations and support on the course, medical support, finishers buckle and Sub 24 buckles, and options to purchase a technical t shirt, a hoodie and professional photos. XCover insurance is available to purchase as an optional extra. The event is organised by Cotswold Trail Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
