Cotswold Way Century

The Cotswold Way Century is a single-stage trail running event of approximately 102 miles along the Cotswold Way National Trail, running from Chipping Campden to Bath. The route follows public rights of way and uses the existing Cotswold Way waymarks; occasional additional markings may be placed near checkpoints or where the route has more than one option. A full GPX route file is provided.

The course includes frequent climbs and descents to reach viewpoints and villages. Surfaces vary and include short road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and ploughed fields. There are no road closures, so participants and supporters must observe ordinary road regulations on non-trail sections. Due to changing conditions official diversions may alter the overall distance.

Participants have a 32 hour time limit to complete the course, with intermediate cut-offs along the route. Entry is restricted to those aged 21 or older. Entry includes a race number, live open tracking, access to food stations and medical support, and the option to purchase a tech t-shirt, hoodie and professional photos. Finishers receive a buckle and there is a Sub 24 hour buckle for those who meet that threshold. XCover insurance is available as an optional extra.

Entries open 1 October 2025 and close 1 September 2026. Entry fees are listed for UKA members and non members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
