Cotswold Way Century

The Cotswold Way Century is a single-stage trail running event covering approximately 102 miles along the Cotswold Way National Trail, running from Chipping Campden to Bath. The event takes place on public rights of way and on some road sections; there are no road closures, so participants must follow normal road regulations where the route leaves trails. Official diversions may be used if conditions change, which can alter the overall distance.

Participants have 32 hours to complete the course, with intermediate cut-offs at designated points. The route includes many ascents and descents and a mix of surfaces: short road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and ploughed fields. The event provides numbered race entries and live tracking, a full route GPX file, food stations and course support, medical cover, and finishers buckles with additional Sub 24 buckles available. Extras include optional event apparel and the opportunity to purchase professional race photos. XCover insurance is offered as an optional extra for possible refunds in specified circumstances.

Entries open on 1 October 2025 and close on 1 September 2026. The minimum age on the event date is 21. The event is organised by Cotswold Trail Events and the venue listed for the event location is Chipping Campden School, Cidermill Lane, Chipping Campden GL55 6HU.
