The race has been moved to September because the organiser was unavailable in June to clear very overgrown parts of the course for earlier dates.

The route is partially marked and organisers describe it as an introduction to fell running. There is a ten minute walk between the parking area and the race start. Minimum age for entry is over 18. Teams may enter free of charge.
