LDWA Autumn Forest Marathon
The event is a forest running event based at the Memorial Hall, Station Road, Henley in Arden, Warwickshire (B95 5JP). It offers two waymarked routes that both start and finish at the Memorial Hall and run through a mix of newly planted, growing, established and mature forest showing early autumn woodland.
Entries open on 4 April 2026 and close on 21 September 2026. Entry fees are listed separately for LDWA members and non members. The event has a new headquarters, new routes and new checkpoints.
Distances
- Marathon: 27 miles
- Short course: 20 miles
The longer route has three staffed checkpoints and the shorter route has two; checkpoints provide snacks and hot and cold drinks. A hot meal is served at the finish. There is no dedicated event parking; several public car parks lie within a short walk of the headquarters and public transport options are available. Under 18s must be accompanied at all times by a guardian over 18 and must have written parental approval. Dogs are not permitted on the route.
