Oxford Greenbelt Runs

The Oxford Greenbelt Runs take place on 26 Sep 2026 at Harcourt Hill, Oxford OX2 9AT. The event is hosted on-site where ample free parking is available and the venue is the home of the Harcourt Hill parkrun.

Three races are offered:

  • 10 km (16 yrs and above)
  • 3 km (12 yrs and above)
  • 1 km (all ages)

There is an Early Bird entry period for the 10 km and 3 km until 31 Aug 2026, with fees of £15 then £20 for the 10 km and £8 then £10 for the 3 km. The 1 km carries a flat fee of £2.50 to cover the run number and a medal. Entry fee includes a medal for all participants and there will be prizes for male and female winners in each race.

The 10 km course is predominantly off road and undulating and includes a short section of the Oxford Greenbelt Way, offering views across open countryside to Oxford. The 3 km uses the start and finish sections of the 10 km. The 1 km fun run is one circuit of the main Harcourt Hill field.

No plastic cups or bottles will be used. Water is available at the start and around halfway; entrants should bring refillable bottles. A pop up café will offer home made goodies and drinks for supporters. Dogs are not permitted on the run but may spectate on lead. The event is organised by the 4th Oxford Scout Group, Registered Charity No. 267799, with proceeds donated to local scouting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
