The Berkeley Marathons UK

The Berkeley Marathons UK is a multi-lap ultramarathon held in Berkeley, Gloucestershire on 25-27 September 2026. The event is organized from Hamfields Leisure, Hamfield Lane, Berkeley GL13 9TN, where the event headquarters provides toilets, showers, hot and cold water, charging points, an indoor area, a bar and camping space.

The course is structured as five laps of roughly 26 miles each, totaling about 130 miles with approximately 15,000 ft of elevation gain overall and about 3,000 ft per lap. Runners must complete all laps within a 24 hour cut off for the full distance. Entry is limited to 120 places and the entry fee is £96.60, with all profit going to charity.

All runners must attend the race briefing on the Friday evening and complete a race waiver at registration. Assistance rules require that runners do not receive external assistance except in camp after checking in following each lap, and runners and crew must be self-sufficient. Crew members are optional for this edition and the event provides GPS tracking and timing, event team support including first aid and marshals, and a “Berkeley buddies” stand-in crew provision. Two nights of camping for the runner plus one optional crew member is included with entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
