A short 1.6 km hill race with 95 m of climb on Sugar Lane in Rainow on 11 July 2026, held as part of the Rainow Village Fete. Open to runners aged 8 and over with entry on the day.

A charity trek at Tittesworth Reservoir offering 10, 20 and 30 mile routes, team entry options and a mandatory kit list. Proceeds support a climate resilient water, sanitation and hygiene project in Bangladesh.

A point-to-point trail run from Bury to Rawtenstall alongside the East Lancashire Railway and the River Irwell. Runners try to keep pace with a steam train while supporters can ride the train; finishers receive a medal and T-shirt.

A five mile multi terrain race in Arrowe Park, Wirral on Sunday 12 July 2026. The route mixes woodland trails, grassy paths and parkland and includes on course water, chip timing and a finisher medal.

A summertime off road race of about 5 miles along the River Mersey in Sale, organised by Dragons Running Club. The event uses chip timing, provides finish mementos and shares profits with local charities.

A monthly trail race at Wirral Country Park, the July event on 14 July 2026 uses an approximately 8K course and is open to runners aged 16 and over. Entry is £16 for one race or £64 for the full five-race series.

A fell race at Plas Dolben near Llangynhafal covering about 8 km with 457 m of climb on a partially marked course. There is a 50 minute cut-off at the top gate, entry on the day is £5 and minimum age is over 16.

A short pairs race on Haddon Hill in Carding Mill Valley where one runner sprints to the top, tags a partner, and the partner runs back down. Entries are on the day only at £10 per pair and the minimum age is over 12.

A guided traverse of all 14 Snowdonia peaks over 3000 ft, about 50 km with 4000 m ascent, offered as a 20 hour or 2 day guided challenge with run and walk pace options and low ratio mountain leadership.

Beyond Manchester on 18 July 2026 offers a city-centre trail and ultra that explores canals, quays and greenbelt areas around Manchester, with GPX files, waymarked routes, feed stations and medical support.

Experience a focused fell race on the Isle of Man featuring a 4.5 km course with 150 meters of elevation. This Summer Hill league counter event starts from the Ardwhallan Outdoor Pursuit Centre.

An inflatable obstacle course event in Knutsford, Cheshire on 18 July 2026 offering 2.5K, 5K, 10K and 15K options. The course includes giant inflatables, music zones, a finisher's medal and on course water and vendors.

A 36 miles running event in Lancashire on 18 July 2026 linking castle sites and including a short estuary crossing by ferry. Entries open 12 May and the event has a minimum age of 21.

A Category BM fell race of 12.9 km with 610 m ascent around Calderbrook, based at Calderbrook Community Church. Entries run from 28 February to 16 July 2026 and the minimum age is 18.

A mountain running event on 18 July 2026 covering 15.35 km with 994 m ascent. Entrants must be 18 or older and have mountain running experience.

Two trail races in Aymestrey, Herefordshire, both climbing to the Iron Age hillfort at Croft Ambrey. Routes are fully marked with water stations and a separate juniors 2 km race with medals.

The All Terrain Challenge will take place in Castletown from Sunday 19 July 2026 to Saturday 25 July 2026.
