Trail Running calendar near Kelso 2026-2027

Coastal trail running in Bamburgh on 20 February 2027 with 10K, half, marathon and ultra options across sand and dunes, fully marked and electronically timed, and included in the season leaderboard.

Trail running in Whinlatter forest on 4 April 2027 with 9 km and 12 km routes, dog-friendly options, marked course and chip timing.

An official backyard ultra at West Benridge Farm featuring a repeating 4.167 mile loop completed each hour, plus a festival-style HQ with DJs, food and coffee as the race continues until one Last Standing remains.

A trail running festival in Keswick on 10 April 2027 with two routes, 53k and 23k, across classic Lake District terrain. The event is TRA licensed and includes live ultra tracking, chip timing, photos and a themed medal.

A figure of eight mountain route from Askham in the Lake District of roughly 40 miles, taking in Helvellyn, High Street and Place Fell with required mountain kit.

A new 10km trail run around Bamburgh Castle and the beach on the Northumberland coast. The Saturday event features live chip timing, allows one dog per runner, and includes finisher medals and on-site parking.

Beyond Newcastle runs from the Quayside in Newcastle offering fully supported 55 km and 25 km trail routes that follow the Tyne and Derwent rivers with marshals, feed stations and live chip timing. Finishers receive a medal and merchandise.

Canicross in Dodd Wood with fully marked 8K and 5K forest courses, chip timed and offering lake views as part of the Lakeland Paws finale weekend.

At Beecraigs Country Park on 24 April 2027 runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop every hour until one completes a solo lap and becomes Last One Standing. Entry includes timing, camping access, parking for one vehicle and a finisher medal.
