Course, facilities and rules

Each lap is 4.167 miles (6.7056 km) and follows forest trails, gravel paths and undulating woodland tracks with about 150 m of ascent per loop. Route markings will be provided and GPX and Strava links will be published before the event. Entry includes timing, one parking space, access to a camping area (tent or small shelter), a covered rest area, basic drinks and snacks for runners, toilets, live lap tracking and a DNF memento; the last runner standing receives a trophy and free entry to the next year.

On-course assistance and poles are not permitted; support is allowed only between laps. Runners must return to the corral before the bell to remain in the race and must check out at Race HQ if they withdraw. Compulsory kit includes a head, chest or waist torch and hi-vis or reflective clothing for after dark. First aiders and basic hot and cold water facilities are provided on site.
