Trail Running calendar near Widemouth Bay 2026-2027

Experience a scenic 50 mile point to point ultra from Taunton to Minehead, starting on flat canal towpaths then rolling coastal trails past marshes, beaches and woodland. Enjoy aid stations, a medal and stunning Westcountry views.

A 50 mile trail ultramarathon on coastal and upland terrain around Minehead with about 7,337 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 16 hour cutoff. It is a cupless race with GPX navigation provided.

Westcountry Ultra 100 is a scenic and tough 100 mile trail from Taunton to Minehead, following canals, rivers and coastal paths. Expect dramatic views, challenging climbs and a 32 hour cutoff with plentiful aid stations.

Trail races at Martinhoe in Exmoor National Park offering 10K, half, marathon and ultra courses across moorland, forest and coastal terrain. The routes include steep climbs, long descents and fully marked navigation.

A 20 km timed coastal trail run from Portreath to Perranporth on 9 May 2026 supporting Man Down Cornwall. Open to participants aged 18 and over, with medals, awards and free race photography.

Trail races at Roadford Lake on 16 May 2026 offer 10.5 km and 5 km laps, with a half marathon run as two laps of the longer course. Kids races for ages 3 to 11 allow adults to run free and entries include chip timing and a finisher medal.

A fell running event at Meldon Reservoir featuring a five mile senior race climbing 1,362 ft to High Willhays and return, plus junior races over 2 km and 4 km. The course requires self navigation and includes compulsory checkpoints.

A multi terrain running event in Beer, East Devon on 17 May 2026 offering 10 mile, 6 mile and a 1 mile fun run, with routes along cliffs, pebble beach and undercliffs and race HQ at Beer Primary School.

This 10K trail race starts and finishes on Cocklemoor in Langport, taking runners across mixed terrain paths through the Somerset Levels and countryside. It follows UK Athletics rules and is open to participants aged 17 and over.

A 26.2 mile trail marathon on 23 May 2026 around Bridgend Miniature Railway Centre, featuring mixed terrain, quarry and forestry sections and a route past the Bedford ironworks. Entry is limited to 60 participants and minimum age is 18.

A 13.1 miles trail across Cornwall from Portreath to Devoran on 23 May 2026, following historic transport routes with a halfway checkpoint, medals and results via the ST App Service.

A 26.2 mile trail marathon near Bridgend with mixed terrain, quarry and forestry sections, and a route past the Bedford ironworks. Places are limited to 60 runners and the course is marked with GPX and five feed stations.
