Flete 10K and Family Fun Run

Flete 10K and Family Fun Run is organised by the Ivybridge Rotary Club at the Flete Estate, with Holbeton Cricket Club serving as event headquarters. Three races are held on a multi-terrain course that uses estate tracks, open fields, footpaths through shaded woodlands beside the River Erme, a short rise toward Holbeton village, and loops that return runners along a riverside path.

Age and entry details are specified for each distance: the 10K is for entrants aged 15 and over, the 5K is open from age 9 with 9 to 11 year olds required to be accompanied by a paying adult, and the 1K is open to all ages with younger children supervised by an adult. Finishers of the 10K receive a T-shirt; 5K and 1K finishers receive medals. Late entrants are not guaranteed a T-shirt or medal.

The event is marshalled and licensed by England Athletics for the 10K; water stations are provided on the 10K route. Medical and rescue cover is available on race day. Headphones and in-ear devices are not permitted except bone conduction types. Photographs may be taken and used for promotion unless the organiser is informed otherwise. Trail runs nearby

Three trail races at the Flete Estate in Mothecombe combine private tracks, estuary footpaths and coastal path sections. Distances range from 8.5 to 28.5 miles with marked courses, aid stations, mandatory kit rules and bespoke finishers' me..

Trail races at Roadford Lake on 16 May 2026 offer 10.5 km and 5 km laps, with a half marathon run as two laps of the longer course. Kids races for ages 3 to 11 allow adults to run free and entries include chip timing and a finisher medal.

A fell running event at Meldon Reservoir featuring a five mile senior race climbing 1,362 ft to High Willhays and return, plus junior races over 2 km and 4 km. The course requires self navigation and includes compulsory checkpoints.

A fell race from Peter Tavy across Coombe Tor, Cox Tor and the Langstone with ascents, descents and technical sections. The main senior course is about 10 km and junior races are also provided.
