A night time fell race to the 703 m summit of Chapelfell Top covering 6.6 km with 370 m ascent. Unmarked route and off path navigation are required and entrants must show experience and carry extensive mandatory kit.

A winter mountain ultramarathon on Saturday 19 December 2026 around Helvellyn. The unmarked 38 mile route gains about 2000 m and requires navigation skills, self reliance and prior winter hill experience.
