Run the Bronte Way fell race through the South/West Pennines, a scenic 12 km point to point with 351 m of climb. Pre entry only with limited bus support and a warming soup and roll at the finish make this a classic autumn challenge.

Take on the classic Buttermere fell race on 25 October 2026 at Gatesgarth Farm, a tough 5 km senior route with 600 m of climbing plus short junior races. Enjoy a traditional shepherds meet atmosphere, entry on the day and a warm drink.

Honour fallen heroes on a scenic trail along the River Wear in Durham. This timed event lets you choose your distance, from a 3km run to an ultra marathon. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.

A November fell race in Sunnyhurst Woods, Darwen, featuring a roughly 6 km course with 305 m of climb via Darwen Tower and the moors. Entry is via Si Entries, minimum age 14, with FRA and non member fees.

Tour of Pendle is an AL fell race from Barley Village Hall covering 27 km with 1473 m of ascent. Pre entry runs 1 August to 31 October, with a cap of 450 runners and mandatory mountain kit required.

A 5 km fell race in Litton, North Yorkshire, featuring about 362 m of ascent and a revised course from 2024. Junior races run at shorter distances, with registration and prizegiving at the Queens Arms and parking 300 m from the start.
