Trail Running calendar near Stroud 2026-2027

Night time looped trail run at Moors Valley Country Park on 21 November 2026 with 10 km, 20 km or 30 km options, compulsory headtorch and free main car park; runners can choose a tree planting option instead of a medal.

A trail event at Spider Hill featuring a single 10 km lap with marshes, Alligator Swamp, Swan Lake, the Muddy Mile and Duck Pond. A 5 km option uses a shortened version with the same muddy, wet terrain.

A ten mile off-road trail race in the New Forest hosted by Totton Running Club, with race facilities, trophies by age category, and entries closing 19 November 2026.

An off road hill race around Brent Knoll in Somerset on 22 November 2026, roughly 6 miles with a steep summit climb and muddy trails. Facilities at the BASC sportsground include parking, toilets, refreshments and a limited bag drop.

Guided 10 km trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, Surrey. Runs take place at dusk in summer and at night with headtorches in winter, on hilly trails with group pacing and a recommended average pace of about 10 min per mile.

Experience an evening off road run through the tracks and trails of the Wyre Forest. This 10 km multi lap course takes runners through the dark with mandatory torches and a medal for every finisher.

A short but steep fell race near Llanfoist and Abergavenny covering 5.7 km with 485 m of ascent. The course is mostly unmarked, needs basic navigation and can be affected by poor weather.

Two trail distances on 28 November 2026 around Machen, featuring wooded single track, ridgeway exposure and steep climbs. The half course is fully marked while the marathon requires self navigation with marshals at key points.

Guided 30 mile trail run from Haslemere along the Serpent Trail and Sussex Border Path with varied heathland, woodland and views of the South Downs. Group based pace and advised prior training of 22 miles; cost £45.

The final race of the 2026 RTT Series takes place in Afan Forest with separate 5 km and 10 km routes from Bryn Bettws Lodge. The event features chip timing, finisher medals, marked and marshalled routes and water stations.

A community charity run in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes offering 1.5k, 5k, 10k and half marathon options with chip timing, medals, refreshments and a fancy dress element to support Movember and men's health.

Trail races at Mapledurham Estate offering 10K, 10 Mile and Half Marathon routes over muddy paths and woodland, with on-course water, finish refreshments and race amenities included.

A trail running event on 29 November 2026 at Charborough Estate through dense Bere Wood, with 10 km, 21 km and a two person relay across technical, marked trails. Facilities include one aid station, toilets and medical support.

A time trial from Little Stretton to the Stiperstones with on the day entry and a finish to start bus. Navigational skills are required and entry fees are £8 per person with a reduced junior rate.

A lap based road event at Rhydycar, Merthyr Tydfil, on a 5.3 km AUKCM certified tarmac circuit along the Taff Trail. Runners choose how many laps to complete within a seven hour limit and can opt for a no medal entry.

A trail half marathon around Hughenden Manor on mostly forest paths with undulating terrain, waymarking and three aid stations. Entry includes chip timing, a finisher souvenir and on-course nutrition.

A *10 km* trail race around Hughenden Manor near High Wycombe, set on woodland and rural paths with significant climbs and some muddy sections. The course is fully marked, includes a water stop at 5.3 km, chip timing and a finisher souvenir..

Coastal 10 Mile and 10k runs from Hengistbury Head along Bournemouth seafront and Boscombe Pier, with largely flat, traffic-free paths, chip timing, water stations and a finisher's medal.

Trail races of 10K, half, marathon and ultra run from Swanage along the Jurassic Coast Path on 5 December 2026, on trail and grass terrain with significant ascent; online check-in and mandatory safety briefing are required.

A 14.5 km fell race near Church Stretton with about 793 m of ascent, marked and marshalled except for a section on The Lawley. Entry is online with 180 places and full FRA kit is mandatory.
