Event overview

The Wiltshire 10 is a 10 mile road race based at King George V Playing Field, Wiltkshire Youth Canoe Club, Melksham SN12 7ED. The course leads out to the village of Lacock and returns to the playing field. Total places are limited to 300. Race entries are open until 1 February 2026 or until the race limit is reached. No entries will be accepted on the day.

Entry, prizes and restrictions

Entry fees are £26.00 for affiliated runners and £28.00 for unattached runners, minimum age 16 on race day. Prizes are awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd for male and female categories, plus V40, V50, V60 and V70 male and female age-category prizes. All finishers receive a medal.

Facilities and course services

Toilets are available at the venue. Refreshments will be available to purchase. There are two water stations on course, located at approximately 3.5 miles and 7 miles. First aid cover is provided and the event is insured. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Dogs and headphones (including bone conduction) are not permitted. There will be no parking at the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club; several council car parks are available in Melksham.

Registration and merchandise

Race numbers must be worn on the front of the top and be clearly visible at the finish. Registration is handled at the event venue.
