The Wiltshire 10 is a 10 mile race that starts and finishes at King George V Playing Field, Melksham (Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club, SN12 7ED). The route passes out to the village of Lacock. A GPX file of the route is available for download.

Logistics and rules

Prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd male and female finishers and in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. All finishers receive a medal. Facilities at the venue include toilets and refreshments for purchase. Two water stations are provided on course at 3.5 miles and 7 miles. First aid cover is in place and the event is insured.

All runners must be aged 16 or over on race day. No dogs, no headphones or bone conduction headphones are permitted. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Roads on the route have not been closed. Entry is limited to a total of 300 places and there are no entries on the day. Registration is at the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club on race day.
