Hazelbury Hurrah!

Hazelbury Hurrah! returns for its eighth running on 10 July 2026 at Leafy Lane Playing Fields, Corsham. The event is organised by Corsham Running Club and takes place on a Friday evening. It is Trail Running Association licensed (number 8404) and UK Athletics insured.

The event raises funds for local organisations including Corsham Churches Foodbank, Helping Victims of Domestic Violence (HVDV), Coppershell Animal Rescue and the Youth Adventure Trust. Previous editions helped raise around £3,000 for local charities and community causes.

Main race details include entry limits of 250 places, ages 16 and over, entry prices for affiliated and unaffiliated runners, and a range of prizes for male and female finishers plus veteran and team categories. The route is a varied multi terrain course of occasionally hilly, muddy and technical ground through woods and fields with some road sections around Hazelbury Manor and Box. Finishers receive a pie and beer or a non alcoholic or vegan alternative.

The junior race is a two lap, 2 km off road and flat course around the Leafy Lane sports field and adjacent woods. Entrants must be aged between 8 and 18 as at 31 August 2026, run unaccompanied, and benefit from line of sight marshalling. Trail runs nearby

Teams of three race from the Packhorse pub to a Midford cider farm and back over an off road route, collecting and carrying a full barrel. Fancy dress is compulsory and prizes include fastest teams and best costume.

A 10 km trail race around Stoke Park in Stapleton, Bristol, organised by Town and Country Harriers. The marked course has steep climbs and natural obstacles, entry is for those aged 18 and over, and half the proceeds go to a local charity.

Multi-distance runs along the Wye Valley Greenway, including a long lit tunnel section. Mostly flat routes on former railway track with feed stations, clear marking and event medals for 5 km or longer.

Timed laps on a 2.62 mile out and back canal route with flexible distance options from 5 km up to ultra and a seven hour time limit. Both in person and virtual entries receive a physical medal.
