Hazelbury Hurrah!

Hazelbury Hurrah! takes place on 10 July 2026 at Leafy Lane Playing Fields, Corsham SN13 0JT. The event includes both an adult main race and a junior race organised by Corsham Running Club.

The main race is for ages 16 and over and is approximately 6 miles / 10 km. The multi-terrain route is well marshalled and waymarked, begins with a lap of the playing fields and a short road section, then weaves around Hazelbury Manor with quiet roads and sections of muddy or uneven ground. Entry is limited to 250 places. Entry fees are £22 (affiliated) and £24 (unaffiliated). Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women, first masters in several age categories, and a team prize; one individual may receive only a single prize. Finishers receive pie and beer or a non-alcoholic/vegan alternative.

The junior race is a 2 km off-road course around the playing field and adjacent Leafy Lane Natural Burial Woods, with a short section passing close to the burial ground. Runners must be aged 8 to 18 as at 31/08/2026. Entry is limited to 125; price £8. All junior finishers receive a medal, drink and snack, and trophies are awarded to the first boy and girl in each age category. Runners should compete unaccompanied unless prior arrangements are made for additional needs; robust marshalling provides line of sight supervision.

Both races are Trail Running Association licensed and insured via UK Athletics. Proceeds support Corsham Churches Foodbank, Helping Victims of Domestic Violence, Coppershell Animal Rescue, Youth Adventure Trust and Corsham Running Club.
