Cattle Creep a Little Further

Wolverton, United Kingdom • 8 Feb 2026

Event details

Cattle Creep... A Little Further is a 10-mile running event in North Milton Keynes, scheduled for Sunday 8 February 2026. The race uses a one-lap route through linear parkland and riverside paths, and includes passage through the Cattle Creep tunnel under the Grand Union Canal. The tunnel is described as low and narrow with some steps down, and the canal path sections may be confined. The event is an extended version of the original Cattle Creep 10K.

Dogs are allowed on the course provided they are kept on leads; handlers are asked to start at the back and take care on narrow sections and steps. The event is canicross friendly.

Course, facilities and venue

The event is based at the picnic area adjacent to the Watermill Lane car park, Watermill Lane, Milton Keynes MK12 5NZ (What3Words: ///riddle.dating.remembers). There is no parking on Watermill Lane; some public car parks are a short walk from the venue, including several in Stony Stratford.

On-course services include a water station, medical support, friendly marshals and fully marked routes. Timing is by chip with online results. The event provides professional photography, finish-line goodies and an interlocking medal.
