The Love Run - Ross-on-Wye

The Love Run is an event held within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Participants choose their target distance from several options and must complete their chosen distance within a seven hour limit. Each lap on course measures 2.5k.

The route is off‑road and described as very tough, remaining entirely within the manor grounds. The course includes a hill on each lap and a series of up and down sections that pass through two vineyards. The event is suitable for walkers and runners. A personalised virtual bib is provided after entry.

A virtual entry option allows completion anywhere with flexible dates; paid entries receive medals. Medal entry types include a full medal, two half medals (one for each partner), or a single half medal. Virtual participation without a medal is offered free of charge. Entry fee details, merchandise options, and optional personal cancellation insurance are listed by the organiser.

Trail runs nearby

A 10 km trail run at Symonds Yat in the Forest of Dean with undulating terrain and views of the River Wye. The final 1 km includes a large climb to the finish. Coffee and hot food are available at the start and finish.

A multi-distance trail event in the Cotswolds on 10th May 2026, featuring quarter, half, marathon and Ultra 40 routes across trails, towpaths and commons with marked routes, checkpoints and on-course water.

Trail running from Sudeley Castle across 1200 acres of Cotswold hills with routes from 7 km to 51 km, marked trails, GPX files and outposts. Longer routes require specified mandatory kit and time cutoffs; dog entries are sold out.

Trail 5k and new 10k at Dunkertons Park lead through fields and woodlands to elevated viewpoints. Prizes are awarded for top three men and women and refreshments are provided at the race HQ.
