BigMud Trails (EARTH) is part of the Classic Element Trail Series by BigFeat Events and takes place on 22 February 2026 at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Gravel Hill, Horndean, PO8 0QE. The event comprises three single-lap trail races around the Meon Valley and the South Downs National Park. Each route passes over Butser Hill, including a 518 ft climb to its summit twice, and finishes back at the park.

Key logistics and requirements: All runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid. Runners are advised to carry clothing appropriate for changeable weather and to download the GPX route file for their device because course arrows can be tampered with. A bag drop tent will be available on the day. Canicross entries are not accepted.

Aid stations and cut-offs: Aid stations are located on each distance as listed in the event information (specific mile locations provided for each race). Stations provide sweet and savoury snacks, vegan options, water and flat coke; the event operates as cupless. Cut-off times are set per distance (16 mile 5 hours; Marathon 7.5 hours; Ultramarathon 8.5 hours).

Additional notes: Aid stations will include PH 1000 electrolyte drink from Precision Fuel & Hydration. Classic Element Trail Series T-shirts are available by pre-order only.
