Trail Running calendar near Stamford 2026-2027

A handicapped fell race of about 3.5 miles with 860 feet of ascent, held each Whitsun Tuesday and described as the oldest continuously run fell race in the world. Entrants must be over 18 and the route includes two road crossings.

A last-runner-standing backyard ultra at Far Coley Farm on 4 June 2027: hourly 4.167 mile loops on mixed trail until one runner remains, with an on-site village, limited accommodation, and crew facilities.

A Star Wars 50th Anniversary weekend on 5 and 6 June 2027 at Caldecotte, Milton Keynes featuring marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake, unique finisher medals, on-course water and toilets, and time limits for each race.

On 5 June 2027 at Bakewell Showground runners choose from five trail distances from 6 km to 55 km across varied moorland, gritstone edges and valley paths. Outposts offer snacks and drink and the course is fully marked and timed.

A mixed road and country run around Ousden in Suffolk offering 5k, 10k, half, full and ultra options with loop and out-and-back formats, regular aid stations, onsite parking and bespoke finisher medals.

A multi distance trail event in the Chilterns AONB near Hitchin on 6 June 2027, with 10 km, half marathon and marathon routes for runners and riders. Start and finish are on Gosmore village green with course support and a race village.

A *10 km* out-and-back race through gravel paths and woodland at Weald Country Park in Brentwood, organised by MCC Promotions. The event includes on-day registration, water stations, prizes and supports the charity Sport In Mind.

A forest trail event at Wendover Woods offering a hilly multi-lap 10 km course with Half Marathon, 10k and Junior Run options, on-site facilities for spectators, route maps and GPX files, and medals plus free photos for participants.

A chip-timed, England Athletics licensed multi-terrain 11.2 km race around Gnosall countryside, starting and finishing at the Gnosall Family Sports Club, plus a separate chip-timed Family Fun Run with 1 km and 0.5 km options.

A 5k obstacle course at Sandwell Valley Country Park on 12 June 2027 featuring grass, paths and woodland with multiple obstacles. Organised by Cancer Research UK, participants fundraise with a minimum target of £50.

An untimed inflatable obstacle run in Lincoln on 12 June 2027 with 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and 15 km options, five music zones and a finisher's medal for every participant. Family rules and on-site facilities are provided.
