Watford Pretty Muddy 5k

Watford Pretty Muddy is a 5k obstacle event held at Cassiobury Park, Watford. The course starts and finishes on grass and is largely flat, with a mix of terrains including tree-lined paths and grass avenues. The route includes obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding.

The event is organised as staggered wave starts every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Adults and children have separate entry prices and there is a minimum fundraising target.

Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available. Accessibility support is available on request; sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.

The meeting point is at the top of the slope next to Cassiobury Park car park by the "Lebanon Tree". There is no parking at Cassiobury Park on the day; public transport or Watford town centre car parks about a 15 minute walk are suggested. Bus services 352 and W30 and Watford Underground station drop nearby at about a five minute walk. Watford Junction overground is about a 25 minute walk. Bike racks are available in the park.
