Sandwell Pretty Muddy 5k

The Sandwell Pretty Muddy 5k takes place at Sandwell Valley Country Park on Saturday 13 June 2026. The course starts and finishes on grass and runs over a mixture of grass, paths and woodland areas with multiple obstacles to climb, crawl and slide through.

The meeting point is the showground in front of the Park Farm. Starts are arranged in staggered waves every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course. Marshals are present along the route and participants may be directed to skip obstacles if needed.

Travel options include event parking in the Pavilion car park and overflow car parks accessed via Lodge Hill Road and Salter’s Lane with stewarded parking and charges of up to £2. Blue badge spaces are allocated in each car park. The venue is about a 25 minute walk from West Bromwich and West Brom Central train station. Bus routes 4, 5, 16, 40, 45 and 46 serve the park. There are no electric charging points or bike racks on site.

Available facilities include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs; showers and bag drop are not available.
