Trail Running calendar near Shepshed 2026-2027

Trail runs across the 1,000 plus acre Harewood House estate with 5 mile, 10 mile and 15 mile options, live chip timing, Canicross friendly entries and finishers receiving a medal and snack.

Introduced in 2026, a 12 mile trail race in National Trust Clumber Park on 26 September 2026. The route is fully marshalled with water stations and finishers receive a medal, water and banana. Minimum age 17 and a three hour cut off.

Run Sandringham on 27 September 2026 features a Half Marathon, 5K and Community Mile around the Sandringham Estate. The event includes chip timing for the Half and 5K, water stations, medical support and on site parking.

Two measured runs through farmland beside Grantchester near Cambridge, with chip timing and medals for all finishers. The event supports Maggie's and Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust and includes on site services and team prizes.

A five mile trail race in Worsley on 27 September 2026, organised by Swinton Running Club at Beesley Green Community Centre. Affiliated and unaffiliated entries are offered and on the day entry is subject to availability.

A charity hike or run on Sunday 27 September 2026 around Charnwood, starting and finishing at Beacon Hill Country Park. The route is about 16 miles and visits Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill and Old John to raise funds for local people in need.

Breidden Hills is an 11.5 km fell race around Criggion, Shropshire with 790 m of ascent. The course is partially marked so navigational skills and kit checks are required, entrants must be over 18 and entry is £8.

A six hour lap-based trail event at Coombe Abbey Park near Coventry, using a 3.3 mile loop through woodland and meadow. Options include a medal or a tree token, rucking is allowed and dogs are not permitted.

Rowbotham's Round Rotherham is a long distance trail event around South Yorkshire with solo and relay options over 80 km or 50 miles. The undulating route includes about 800 m of climb and is based at the Manvers Waterfront Boat Club.

A 10th anniversary five mile chip timed cross country and Canicross in the Upper Wreake valley, featuring fields, stiles, brooks and hilly countryside. Race HQ is at Hoby & District village hall with parking and facilities.

Two routes from Buxton Community School through the western Peak District: 26.2 miles with 4000 ft ascent or 14.3 miles with 2000 ft ascent. Checkpoints provide refreshments and a hot meal at the finish.

A 15.2 km fell race in the Peak District with 490 m of climb, held at Curbar Primary School on 3 October 2026. Pre-entry is required and proceeds go to Curbar Primary School.

A coastal off road race from Peasholm Park in Scarborough along the historic Cinder Track. Distances from 5K to marathon, water stations about every 3 miles, on the day bib collection and a Grim Bling finisher medal.

Wild Run Cotswolds showcases rugged off road trails on a private estate with fully marked routes, chip timing and a family friendly supporter zone. Entries are limited to 600; choose 10K, half, marathon or the six hour 360 challenge.

A club organised 12 km fell race with about 490 m of ascent around Old Town, Hebden Bridge, including a flagged section through the private Castle Carr estate. Pre-entry is required and strict FRA kit rules apply.
