ZigZag - 2025 Bauble Bimble is a timed, multi-lap running event held on 07 December 2025 at Ferry Meadows, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU. The event is offered in two formats: a 6-hour or a 4-hour timed challenge. The course is a multi-terrain loop through the park, mainly footpaths with some grass and trail sections. An aid station is provided at the Race HQ/Base Camp each lap.

Location and logistics

Race HQ and the lap point are located near the main toilet block and parking payment machines; the start arch and gazebos are visible from that area. Race registration is at the Race Registration area for bib collection. Baggage should be left in cars near the startline. Parking at the park is chargeable.

Participants can rest between laps and continue as desired within the timed period; an additional lap may be allowed if a runner leaves Base Camp before the timed period ends. A bespoke finisher medal will be issued unless the Lucky Dip medal option is chosen. The event is cupless - participants should bring their own bottle or cup for refilling. Run a scenic 10 mile trail around Grafham Water, weaving through woodland, Dragonfly Pond and Sanctuary Bay before a final mile along the dam wall. Canicross runs in a separate wave so you can bring your dog on a lead.

Dirt Run is a trail running series across two rounds in Northamptonshire at Irchester in January and Brigstock in February. Tackle mixed trails and a notable hill, pick short or longer distances and earn a unique finisher medal.

Join the OMG Run at Bawsey Country Park on 24 Jan 2026 for timed trail distances from 5k to ultra in a six hour format with extra lap options. Limited to 100 runners, the undulating sand and gravel course offers lap aid and finisher medals.
