Tunnel Vision - Market Harborough

Market Harborough, United Kingdom • 6-7 Nov 2025

Event overview

Tunnel Vision is an out-and-back 5 mile running event in Market Harborough held on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th November 2025. The route includes a run through the Oxendon Tunnel, which is 422 m long; mood lighting will be used inside the tunnel but participants must use a headtorch. The event is organised as two separate runs - a night run and a dawn run - and entrants may enter one or both.

Entries and logistics

Entries are open on the organiser's ticketing platform and are priced at £22 for a single race and £39 for both. The minimum age for competitors is 14 years. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Pre-collection of race numbers, timing chips and pre-ordered t-shirts is available on Wednesday 5th November at Harborough Leisure Centre (LE16 9HF); remaining items are allocated at race-day registration. Parking is free at the Leisure Centre.

Course, support and extras

The route is on hard packed track and is suitable for road or trail shoes; the tunnel surface has ruts and puddles. Professional first aid will be available at the start and finish with course access, and volunteers will be positioned on course, at the tunnel entrance and at the turn-around. Prizes are planned for the top three male and female finishers. All finishers receive a commissioned event medal; medals from both runs interlink. Night-run finishers receive a hot drink and biscuits; dawn-run finishers receive orange juice and a croissant. Race merchandise can be pre-ordered; free digital race photos will be available after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
