About the race
Petzl Tunnel Vision in Market Harborough is a pair of out and back runs held on 5 and 6 November 2026. Each event covers 5 mile on a hard packed track that is suitable for road or trail shoes. Both routes pass through the Oxendon Tunnel, which is 422 m long; mood lighting will be installed in the tunnel but participants must use a headtorch or small handheld torch because the tunnel surface has ruts and puddles.
Entries are priced at £23 for a single race and £40 for both. The minimum age for competitors is 14 years. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Pre-event registration and race kit collection are available at Harborough Leisure Centre on the day before the races. Parking is free at the Leisure Centre.
Petzl is the title sponsor and will offer participants the chance to see and try headlamp models. Professional first aid will be available at the start and finish and on-course volunteers will be positioned at key points, including the tunnel entrance and the turn-around.
All finishers receive a commissioned event medal; medals for the two runs interlink. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
