Tunnel Vision - Market Harborough

Market Harborough, United Kingdom • 5-6 Nov 2026

Tunnel Vision Night Run

Tunnel Vision is a 5 mile out-and-back running race. It is held as two separate events: a Night Run and a Dawn Run. Participants can enter one or both events.

The route includes the 422-meter long Oxendon Tunnel, a dark former railway tunnel. Mood lighting is provided inside the tunnel, but runners must use a head torch or small handheld torch because the surface inside has ruts and puddles. The course surface is a hard-packed track suitable for road or trail shoes. There is a sunrise during the Dawn Run.

Registration and Logistics

Entry costs £23 for a single race or £40 for both. The minimum age for competitors is 14 years. Race numbers and timing chips can be collected on the day. Alternatively, they can be picked up the day before at Harborough Leisure Centre.

Free parking is available at the Leisure Centre. The start point is off Scotland Road, behind the Protheroes garage.

Post-Race

All finishers receive a specially commissioned event medal; the medals for the two runs are designed to interlink. After the Night Run, finishers get a hot drink and biscuits. After the Dawn Run, they receive orange juice and a croissant. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Race photography is provided free of charge as a digital download.

Race merchandise, including technical t-shirts and a hoodie, can be pre-ordered online. The event supports the Jubilee Foodbank in Market Harborough and the Weston Favell Centre Foodbank in Northampton. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
