Trail Running calendar near Seagrave 2026-2027

A six hour looped trail challenge in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where participants choose how many approximately 5.45 km laps to complete.

Nottingham Running Festival at Nottingham Racecourse in Colwick Country Park features a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and junior race, supports Nottinghamshire Hospice, and includes medals, free photos, chip timed results and an event village.

A chip timed, multi terrain flat 10 km race around Pershore that starts at Pershore Leisure Centre and finishes in Abbey Park. Entry is online only, limited to 325 places and includes a medal, water and a plum for finishers.

A community 5k at Hugglescote Grange on 30 August 2026 with a two lap route that may change as footpaths open. Walking, children and dog friendly with a medal for participants and limited on site parking.

MacTuffX Bedford on 30 August 2026 is a functional fitness race at Barkers Lane combining ten Xercises with running in solo, doubles and relay formats. A LITE weight division is available and results appear on a detailed leaderboard.

Run Winchcombe at Sudeley Castle on 30 August 2026 offers 1k, 5k and 10k routes through castle grounds and up to Belas Knap with medals and finishers' sausages.

Two junior races in Upper Denby on Monday 31 August 2026, organised by Denby Village Conservation Group. Marked trail courses, medals for category winners, ice cream for finishers and music with stalls at The George Inn.

Scenic 10 km fell race in Eyam with a 3 km junior race, marshalled route, prizes from The Barrel Inn and a post race barbecue and real ale.

An 8 km fell race from Whitworth with a steep opening climb and a rolling route over Brown Wardle, Middle Hill and Hades Hill. Mandatory FRA kit is required and there is a 24 minute cut-off to the top of Brown Wardle.

A 7.7 km fell race around Longstone Edge in the Peak District on 4 September 2026, mostly off road with 290 m of ascent. Entry for the main race is limited to 200 runners and junior races are run separately.

Test your endurance at a looped off road running event featuring 6, 12, and 24 hour challenges. Enjoy a community atmosphere with on site camping and options for solo runners or relay teams on a flat farm based course.

Two fell races in Hayfield on 5 September 2026 offering a 24.5 km route with 1270 m climb and a 16 km route with 675 m climb.

A 24 hour, 56 mile unmarked circular hike and ultra run in the Peak District starting and finishing in Hazel Grove on 5 to 6 September 2026 with checkpoint support.

A fell running event in Edale on 5 September 2026 featuring a team barrel race, an individual fell race and a children’s race, with family activities and proceeds supporting Hope and Edale primary schools.

Trail running in the Shropshire Hills from Carding Mill Valley with Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K options across The Long Mynd and National Trust land, waymarked route, on-course aid stations and a finishers medal.

Backyard Ultra at Hardwick Hall Estate on 5 September 2026 where runners repeat a 4.16 mile loop each hour until only one remains, with on course aid and support.

A fell race on the Longshaw estate on 5 September 2026 covering 7.1 km with 237 m of climb, held alongside Britain’s oldest sheepdog trials with race entry including access to the trials and on-site facilities.

Enjoy a scenic trail run through the Staffordshire countryside starting and finishing at a canal side pub. This charity event features a 10k route followed by evening food and music.

A two day ultra following the Cheshire Canal Ring from Northwich, organised by New Era Community Boxing. Entrants must be over 20 and meet a 36 hour cutoff; duo tickets and pre race support are available.

An ultra endurance event in Heartwood Forest where participants cover four mile loops within a 12 hour window, solo or in relays up to eight people. Winners are decided by distance and all finishers receive a medal.
