Trail Running calendar near Scorriton 2026-2027

A 50 mile LDWA qualifier in Crowcombe on 10 to 11 October 2026, run as two loops onto the Brendon Hills and the Quantocks; entries require a recent 30 mile completion.

A 24 hour looped endurance event in Haldon Forest where runners complete one lap each hour for 24 hours, with distances from 10k to ultra and on site facilities.

A 5-mile mostly-trail race around Restormel Castle and Lostwithiel with over 1000 ft of climbing, held as part of the Cornwall MTRS on 11 October 2026.

A 20 mile trail run or hike in South Devon starting and finishing at Broadsands Beach in Torbay. The route goes inland to Kingswear then along the South West Coast Path with about 4000 ft ascent, three aid stations and a cupless policy.

Three multi terrain trail runs near Honiton, East Devon on 18 October 2026. Routes of 10 km, 5 km and 3 km feature hills, mud and river crossings, with refreshments sold at the village hall.

Coastal trail running at Oxwich Bay on 18 October 2026 with 21 km, 10 km and 5 km options plus chip timing and finisher medals.

A running endurance event at Perranporth with 12 rounds plus a final hour where time requirements change without warning and loop distance stays within set limits.

Day one of a two day mountain marathon at Westermill Farm, Exford, featuring a 40 km course with 1800 m of climb. Teams of two must pre-enter and the entry fee covers both race days and campsite.

A weekend obstacle course event at Scorrier House Estate, Redruth, offering 10 km, 5 km and 2.5 km routes plus a dog friendly K9 day. The format focuses on teamwork, mud and water obstacles, with medals and event photos for finishers.

Mendip Muddle is a 20 km multi terrain fell race in Somerset with about 420 m of climbing. Headquarters are at Charter House Outdoor Activity Centre; on course water and first aid are provided and prizes are awarded by category.

Routes along the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton include Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k options on hard packed gravel towpaths. The event is cupless so runners must carry their own water and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

An evening trail event at Haldon Forest Park on 30 October 2026 offering a 2.5 km fun run plus 5 km and 10 km running and canicross options, free race photography and a Halloween 2025 medal for each finisher.

An eight hour lap event on an old disused train line near Bridestowe with flexible starts, **5.3 km** laps and medals for finishers.

Trail races around Roadford Lake organised by Sportiva Events. Distances include 10K and half marathon with canicross options. Entries include chip timing, feed station, medal, refreshments and category prizes.

An off road ultramarathon from Maiden Newton of about 35.9 miles with roughly 1,300 m of ascent, passing hillforts and coastal views. Six aid stations offer water and cake, GPX files and maps are provided for navigation.

A chip-timed marathon around East Cornwall from Pensilva, following a route past several local landmarks with a 6.5-hour course cut off.

An evening event at Scorrier House on 1 November 2026 with 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km races plus canicross; timed by ST App Service with medals, awards, photography and on-site food and music.

Coastal ultra events across North Devon and Exmoor with multiple distances, self navigation on the South West Coast Path, GPS tracking and GPX route files.
