The Nidderdale Way Ultramarathon will take place in Pateley Bridge on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Run the Bronte Way fell race through the South/West Pennines, a scenic 12 km point to point with 351 m of climb. Pre entry only with limited bus support and a warming soup and roll at the finish make this a classic autumn challenge.

Tackle Lockton Limping, a scenic fell race across the North York Moors covering 11.2 km with 350 m of climb and sweeping views. Entry is on the day at Lockton Village Hall, perfect for both competitive and social runners.

Obstacle-course race at Aske estate for dogs and owners, with 5 km and 10 km routes, dozens of marked obstacles and an 850 m muddy assault section.

A Halloween themed trail event on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal in Kirkstall offering distances from a family friendly 1 mile to ultra marathon. The licensed course is marshalled and features drink stations, Halloween medals and spot prizes.

Full and half marathon around Gargrave through Yorkshire Dales to the Broughton Stone Circle, with refreshment stations and proceeds supporting a participant's World Scout Jamboree 2027 attendance.

November 2026

A coastal running event in Seaham with 5 km and 10 km courses starting at the Tommy statue. A one minute silence precedes each race; live chip timing and finisher medal, T shirt and snack are provided.

A night trail run at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir with looped courses of 3.3 miles or 6.7 miles. The route is marshalled and signed, has aid stations about every 3 miles, and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

A TRA-licensed trail event around Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs featuring an undulating 6.7-mile loop and multiple race distances. The course is waymarked and marshalled, with aid stations, on-site facilities, and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 10 km BS fell race near Todmorden with about 350 m ascent on a fast, muddy course featuring a steep descent off Stoodley Pike and a sharp climb back. Minimum age 18, entry on the day £5, strict FRA kit requirements apply.

An 11 km fell run in Burley-in-Wharfedale on 7 November 2026 with 250 m of climb. Pre-entry and entry on the day are possible at modest fees, the event is for adults and carries FRA permit insurance.

Trail marathon, half marathon and 10k from Goathland on 7 November 2026. Courses are unmarked so runners must carry printed maps and mandatory winter safety kit.

A dog-friendly trail event at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs with 3.3 mile and 6.7 mile looped routes on mainly off-road paths, marshals, waymarking, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 24 mile challenge walk across the Hambleton Hills with 3,500 ft of ascent, a 10 hour time allowance and checkpoints at Kilburn and nearby villages.

A timed Remembrance run in Durham on 8 November 2026 along the River Wear, offering lap based distances from 3 km to ultra, medals for finishers, aid stations and a two minute silence during the event.

Soyland Moor is a 13.5 mile fell race around Cragg Vale with about 1300 ft of ascent, visiting Stoodley Pike and the Pennine Way. Full FRA kit is required, entries are accepted online or on the day, minimum age 17.

Trail running at Bolton Abbey with 2.4 mile family run, 10K, 10 mile and half marathon across estate trails; proceeds support Sue Ryder.

Tackle the Wadsworth Half Trog, a rugged 9.3 mile course with about 1,400 ft of climbing across muddy moorland and partly flagged routes. Brilliant for fell runners who like a compact, challenging off road outing on 8 November 2026.

Trail races at Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield offering 5km, 10km and a Half Marathon on lakeside and woodland trails. Live chip timing, bespoke finisher medal, merchandise and a post race snack and drink provided.
