Run Bolton Abbey takes place on 9 November 2025 at Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire. The event is organised by Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and raises funds for the hospice.

Course, facilities and entry

The course is trail and hilly, run as a single lap. Routes were revised for 2022 and include sections of the estate not usually open to the public. There are strict cut offs for the 10 mile and half marathon. A finisher medal is made from fallen trees within the Bolton Abbey Estate. Race headquarters is the field opposite Cavendish Pavilions. Entry is limited to 1,200 runners.

Facilities include water stations and toilets. There are no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. Free parking all day is included in the entry fees. Run the rugged hills around Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley at Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline, with half, 20 mile and ultramarathon options. Expect rocky ridges, friendly checkpoints and a finisher medal and event tee to celebrate your day.
