Bronte Half Marathon and 10k

The Bronte Half Marathon and 10k take place in Oxenhope and Bronte Country, Yorkshire on 20 September 2026. The event is organised by Sue Ryder and Race HQ is at Penistone Hill Country Park, Haworth.

The routes are on trail terrain with a hilly profile and each race uses a single lap. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Digital maps of each route are provided by the organiser. Recorded best times for the course are 1:39:20 for men and 2:33:07 for women.

Entry is limited to 200 places. Entry fees listed range from £15.00 to £17.00 depending on age and distance; on-the-day entry may be available for an additional £5 if the event has not sold out. Prices include race fees and administration charges.

Facilities at the event include water stations and toilets. There are no distance markers, changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage. All participants receive a pie and peas meal and a race memento at the finish. The event is linked to a longstanding mountain bike ride in the same area and takes place alongside that activity.
