A mixed-terrain *10 km* organised by Emersons Green Running Club at Mangotsfield School, limited to 200 entries, with recycled-material medals and proceeds funding tree planting.

A point to point half marathon along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton City Centre to Brindley Place. The race uses seeded time trial waves, features the 360 metre Coseley Tunnel and floating drink stations, and finishes in Brindley Place.

A 15 mile trail event around Abergavenny and the Sugar Loaf with 80 percent trail, 3,248 ft of ascent and one fully stocked checkpoint. Mandatory kit is required and there are no time limits.

July the Turd is a run offering 8 miles, 16 miles and a full marathon around the Ironbridge valley. The route mixes tracks, paths and road and the event finishes at The Unicorn Inn with parking on site and finisher bling.

Fell races for senior and junior runners in Warslow on 4 July 2026. The senior course is 10 km with 675 m ascent, limited to 150 entrants and held under Fell Runners Association licence number 2026 9716.

A 4.7 mile off road trail race through the Moss Valley with a 1.4 mile family fun run. The course runs across farmland and woodland, includes a small ford, and is taped and marshalled.

The CWM Elan Back Yard Ultra will take place in Rhayader on Saturday 4 July 2026. You can run 7 kilometers.

Trail options from Bakewell across the Southern Peak District include 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and a 10 mile Bakewell option. The event features a signed route, GPS tracking, covered rest stops, medical support and camping facilities.

A licensed, timed 5-mile multi-terrain race around Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Park on 4 July 2026, with water stations, t-shirts and medals. A colourful 1-mile fun run with colour stations and a finisher medal is also included.

A muddy 5 km obstacle event at Heaton Park featuring climbs, crawls and slides across grass, paths and woodland. Waves start every 15 minutes, participants must be 13 or older, and fundraising support plus a medal are provided.

A 24 hour track challenge in Nuneaton where participants run one mile at the same time each hour for 24 consecutive hours. The event offers clubhouse and around the clock toilet access, a daytime cafe, limited places and a P24 finisher meda..

On a Plod MCR on 4 July at Steel Foundry CrossFit in Salford Quays is an inclusive backyard ultra on a 3 km loop. Participants may start anytime within a five hour window and run as many laps as they choose with live tracking and awards.

An outdoor Tough Mudder obstacle event at Belvoir Castle organised by Islamic Help, offering 5K and 10K course options and a mandatory minimum fundraising target of £250. Open to participants aged 14 and over.

A 21.1 km off-road race on The Ridgeway between Wendover and Princes Risborough with 526 m of ascent. Fully marked route, two aid stations, TRA licence and a four hour time limit; open to runners aged 17 and over.

A 10 km (6 miles) fell race around Great Hucklow that crosses the Dark Peak and White Peak, run over varied upland terrain. The event is organised by local volunteers and finishers receive a flapjack at the finish.

A trail half marathon around Lyme Hall and the Gritstone Trail, with a fully marked route, two aid stations, electronic timing and parking included in the £36 fee. Finishers can choose a medal or a tree planting option.

Forest races on hilly woodland trails in Cannock Chase offering a half marathon and a 10k in a summer schedule, with route maps, parking on site, a bespoke medal and free photographs.

Trail races of 10K, 22K and 50K around Tittesworth Reservoir and the southern Peak District, with waymarking, marshals, stocked aid stations, chip timing, a themed medal and a discounted event T-shirt option.

Two mainly off-road routes around Matlock—35 km and 17 km—run as a fundraiser for Derby Mountain Rescue Team. The unmarked course requires navigation and can be walked or run solo or in groups.
