Vivo Life Superhuman Games

Vivo Life Superhuman Games is an outdoor functional fitness competition first launched in 2013. The 2026 edition takes place at Greville Smyth Sports Ground on Saturday 4 July 2026. The event combines strength, endurance and obstacle elements across five separate workouts.

Each workout lasts 20 minutes and follows an AMRAP format where teams attempt to complete as many laps as possible before the clock runs out. While movements change each year, the workouts follow consistent themes: Strength & Honour features heavy, Superhuman-style lifting and carries such as tyre flips, pulls and heavy sandbags; Brutal Beat Down uses bodyweight and full body movements; Unconventional Beast focuses on multiple carries of odd objects like logs, blocks and kegs; Assault Course involves a military-style course with alternating team starts; VO2 Max centres on running, rucking and hill sprints. Workouts are released 12 weeks before the event with video demonstrations and an information pack.

Entries are organised by category and age-group. Categories include mixed teams of four and pairs (mixed, mens, womens), with age-based Open, Masters and Vets divisions and combined-age cutoffs as published. Entry prices are shown from £84 per person with later release tiers up to £114 per person; some early releases are sold out. Prizes are awarded to the top three performers in each category and age group. The event is sponsored by Vivo Life. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
