Rodway 10k

The Rodway 10 km is organised by Emersons Green Running Club and takes place on Friday 3rd July 2026 on a long summer evening. The course starts and finishes at Mangotsfield School on Rodway Hill (BS16 9LH). It is traffic free and mixed terrain, with roughly half on tarmac paths and half on tracks and trails, and features a slight undulation. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs, or dogs.

All finishers receive a handmade Rodway 10k medal made entirely from recycled and recyclable materials. Entry is limited to 200 runners and the minimum age is 16. There are no entries on the day. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated Club members £12.00 and Unattached £14.00.

The event includes changing facilities and showers at Race HQ, bag storage, hot refreshments, and free parking and cycle facilities on site. Race numbers are issued at registration on the day. A tail-runner is provided and the club’s mantra is that no one gets left behind, so provision is made to help slower participants.

All proceeds from entry fees are used to fund tree planting; previous years have funded the planting of around 2000 trees. Prizes include overall and age-category awards with gift card amounts for the top three overall finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
