Cannock Chase Forest Half Marathon & 10k

The event is a pair of road-free races through Cannock Chase, held on Sunday 5 July 2026 in Staffordshire. It offers two distances over forest trails that are described as hilly and summery, with wooded scenery along the route.

Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for participants. The course has been moved from its traditional autumn date to a summer slot. The organisers describe the route as suitable for ongoing training schedules and open to runners of a range of abilities from novices to experienced athletes.

Race headquarters and the start are located just off Penkridge Bank Road within Cannock Chase; the headquarters is not at the main GoApe visitor centre. An inflatable obstacle 5K at Donington Park in Derby on Saturday 18 April 2026, presented as a larger, bouncier 2026 edition with recent booking activity.

A trail running festival at Cannock Chase Forest on 19 April 2026 offering Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and a junior race, with chip timing, photos and a themed medal. The event supports Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

A 41.4 miles circular walking and running challenge around Coventry, mostly off-road through Warwickshire and Solihull. Open to individuals and relay teams of up to 6, with five checkpoints and a hot meal provided at the finish.

Marathon and half marathon along the traffic free Tissington Trail in Derbyshire. The out and back course climbs to Parsley Hay then returns to Ashbourne Leisure Centre, with route maps and GPX files available.
