Run And Ride Summer Solstice 6 Trail Run
This is a 10km evening trail run based at Milford Common, Milford, Stafford ST17 0UR, taking in high points around the Milford / Brocton area of Cannock Chase. The course uses one lap and passes the Millennium Sundial, the Glacial Boulder and a Trig point before returning to Milford Common.
The route is marked with basic arrows at junctions but is navigable by participants who prefer alternative lines. A suggested route map will be published and a GPX file will be made available. The course is off road, hilly and includes technical trails.
There are no water stations or distance markers on the course. Timing will be chip based. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, plus first Vet (40+) male and female. Entry categories include Adult/Jnr (14–39) and Vet (40+). No medals will be issued; organisers will provide a post-event drink at Barley Mow. Any event profits will be donated to Muscular Dystrophy. Prize presentation will occur about 30 minutes after the third placed runner in each category finishes.
Parking is available at Milford Common for a small charge and toilets are provided. Race numbers will not be posted in advance; sign-on takes place on the day at Run And Ride.
