Event Overview

The Tittesworth Water running event takes place on Sunday 5 July 2026. Participants can explore routes around Tittesworth Reservoir and the southern Peak District in Staffordshire. The course features a variety of terrain including rugged trails, moorland tracks, and climbs with views across the surrounding hills.

The event offers three distinct distances:

All routes are waymarked with distance flags at every kilometre. Marshals are positioned throughout the course to provide guidance. Runners have access to stocked aid stations during the race and an event village with various food and drink options.

Participant Information

Every entry includes chip-timed results for accurate performance tracking and free race photos. Upon crossing the finish line beside the water, participants receive a unique themed medal and post-race goodies.

The event is organized by RunThrough and focuses on sustainability initiatives. While a commemorative t-shirt with the event logo is available for purchase at a discount during registration, it is not included in the standard entry fee to provide options for those who do not wish to receive one. Trail runs nearby

A summer evening charity run at Marbury Park with a 5k adult race and 1k kids' fun run, plus BBQ, bar, cake stall and music. Proceeds go to The Stroke Association and all finishers receive a medal.

A trail race of 33 miles following much of the Chesterfield Round Walk across moorland, woodland, reservoirs and farmland. The course is largely unmarked and comes with GPX route notes, staffed checkpoints and medical cover.

A self-navigated trail event around Delph, Saddleworth covering about 19 miles with 3000 ft of ascent. The unmarked course visits five trig points, has three manned checkpoints, and requires full kit and a minimum age of 18.
