The Peak District Ultra Challenge takes place in the Southern Peak District with a Bakewell basecamp on 4-5 July 2026. The event uses a figure-of-8 route based at Bakewell and includes options over single-day and two-day formats. The full continuous route is a loop returning to Bakewell and the event passes near Chatsworth House. Camping, parking, transfers, a basecamp bar, and hospitality and welfare services are available at Bakewell basecamp.

- 100 km (full continuous, ~2150 m climb)
- 100 km (2-day daylight option: 52 km + 48 km)
- ~73 km (3/4 challenge, ~1500 m climb)
- 52 km (northern loop, ~1250 m climb)
- 48 km (southern loop, ~900 m elevation)
- 25 km (loop, ~600 m elevation)
- 10 miles (loop, ~350 m climb)
The organiser provides covered rest stops approximately every 12.5 km, with major stops every ~25 km, marquee shelter, catering, medical and massage teams, podiatry support, and a 24-hour control room. The route is fully signed and uses GPS tracking via an event app; the timing system scans participants at rest stops. Entry categories include an Ultra March option for walkers and a Trailblazerz option for faster competitive runners. Registration is open for self-funded and charity-funded places.
