Trail Running calendar near Salcombe 2026-2027

A lakeside event at Siblyback Lake on 20 June 2026 offering multiple trail distances and an eight hour Siblython lap event. On-site camping, a café, personalised bibs and medals are available for participants.

A Dartmoor fell running event on 20 June 2026 featuring a 6 mile Burrator Horseshoe, a 4 mile Sheepstor Challenge and junior races, with proceeds to local parish charities and a 250 runner limit.

A crewed, self navigation team event where five runners tackle 100 mile trail and coastal routes in Cornwall with a 36 hour limit. Entry costs £110 and participants must meet qualifying and kit requirements.

A community 10 km run organised by Exeter City Community Trust, held from Race HQ at Haven Banks and routed along the Riverside Valley Park. The event is chip timed, provides water stations, first aid and a finisher medal; minimum age 15.

A coastal 26.2 mile self-navigation event on the North Cornwall coast with three manned checkpoints, live GPS tracking and a two person relay option. The route passes Polzeath, Port Isaac and Tintagel and has a nine hour cut off.

Hourglass on 27th June 2026 is a last person standing running event of repeated *2 mile* laps around the Royal Cornwall Events Centre. Lap time allowances shrink each circuit and runners are eliminated if they miss the limit.

A multi-format timed run on a 5 mile loop beside Widemouth Bay and Bude canal, including 24, 12 and 6 hour options plus a cub fun run. Camping is included and surplus funds support Talan’s Trust for childhood cancer research and services.

A 13.5 mile trail race around Lundy Island with technical coastal and clifftop sections, Raceboat and Non-Raceboat entry options, two aid stations, required kit and a 3.75 hour time limit.

Experience a flat and traffic free run along North Devon estuaries and historic railway tunnels. With distances from 10km to 50km plus family fun runs, this event offers a fast tarmac course through beautiful tranquil woodlands.

A coastal running event at Woolacombe on 28 June 2026 offering marathon, half marathon and 10K distances with chip timing, on-course support, a race village with merchandise and fundraising to benefit North Devon Hospice.

A guided Dartmoor trail run of about 10 miles exploring Holne Moor and Ryder's Hill, with an optional swim at Sharrah Pool if conditions allow. Steady-paced, kit recommended includes trail shoes, waterproof and a change of clothes.

Forest Flyer is a roughly 5 mile trail race through Haldon Forest Park near Exeter, with water stations and cupless provision. Prizes cover overall and age categories, and race profits include a donation to St Petrock's.

An evening trail event on 4 July 2026 based at the Fox Inn in Ansty, Dorchester with a 10k course and 220 m of elevation, venue music and food, accommodation options, finisher medals and trophies to third place male and female.

A traditional fell race from Belstone Village to Cosdon Beacon and back, roughly 3.1 miles with about 300 m of climbing over rough open terrain. The course is unmarked so runners must navigate themselves and report at the beacon checkpoint.

A timed trail festival at Newnham Park near Plymouth offering 12 24 and 36 hour solo pair and team events on a five mile loop, plus a kids race. Camping parking traders and on course support are provided.

Two evening coastal races in Perranporth on 11 July 2026 supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance, featuring a 13.1 mile half and a 10.5 km route with GPS tracking, medals, awards and race photography.

A scenic off road 10 km through the Otter Valley starting and finishing at Tipton St John Playing Field, with a separate fun run for children and on site camping available.
