Lulworth Cove Trails

The Lulworth Cove trail event takes place on the Lulworth Castle Estate in West Lulworth, Wareham. This event features three distinct off-road distances that utilize the local landscape of the Dorset coastline and the surrounding countryside. Participants follow routes that include rugged trails, various climbs, descents, and stiles.

Available distances for the event include:

  • 10k: Open to participants aged 16 and over.
  • 27k: Open to participants aged 18 and over.
  • 50k Ultra: Open to participants aged 20 and over.

All three routes begin at Daggers Gate. The races are conducted under UK Athletics Rules. The 50k distance has a 12-hour cut-off time, the 27k has a 6.5-hour cut-off, and the 10k has a 3-hour cut-off.

Event merchandise is available, including a focused event t-shirt featuring the race logo. The organizer, RunThrough, also implements sustainability initiatives as part of the event management. A midweek *10 km* trail race at Moors Valley Country Park on 10 June 2026, set on shaded forest trails with chip timing, aid stations, a finishers medal and eco friendly event practices. Canicross options available.

Trail running at Wilkswood Farm, Swanage, with three measured coastal routes (23 km, 13 km, 7 km), technical rocky sections and varied outpost support. Dog entries are sold out.

A scenic off-road 10 km trail through the private Lulworth Estate near Lulworth Cove, featuring chalk downs, woodland, water stations and an event café serving homemade cakes.

A multi-distance coastal ultra along the Jurassic Coast from Poole to Exmouth, offering routes from 33 km to 105 miles. The self-navigated course follows the South West Coast Path with GPX files, checkpoints and on-course safety cover.
