Inflatable 5K : Bournemouth, Dorset

The Inflatable 5K in Bournemouth takes place on Saturday 1st August 2026 at Chaseside, Bournemouth BH7 7DX. The event is an inflatable obstacle course on a 2.5 km lap that repeats around the site and includes giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. Music zones are positioned around the course and water is available midway along the route. There is no timing for the event and each participant receives a finishers medal and a goodie bag.

Distances available:

  • 2.5k - one lap, 15 obstacles
  • 5k - two laps, 30 obstacles
  • 10k - four laps, 60 obstacles
  • 15k - six laps, 90 obstacles

Children aged 5 to 15 may take part only when accompanied by a paying adult at a maximum ratio of three children to one adult. Entry categories note adults as 16+ and children as 5 to 15 years. Facilities at the venue include toilets, food and drink vendors, designated spectator areas, paid parking at £5 per car, and a bag drop service charged at £3 per bag with size and item restrictions. Dogs are not allowed on site. Volunteer roles are offered with a free run entry, a T-shirt and a tote bag. An ultra trail event on 24 May 2026 from south of Salisbury to Kimmeridge Bay, offering 100K, 50K and 30K courses with varied terrain, marshals, aid stations, mobile medics and finisher medals.

An obstacle 5k at Baiter Park in Poole on 30 May 2026, the Pretty Muddy event combines climbing, crawling and sliding while raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Waves run every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older.

Midweek chip timed trail races at the Blue Pool nature reserve in Dorset with 7 mile and 3 mile routes through woodland and ridge views. Race entry includes access for one adult and up to two children.
