Trail Running calendar near Petersfield 2026-2027

A weekend running festival at Blackland Farm on 18–19 July 2026 offering 1-mile lap formats: 24-hour and 12-hour solos, team relays, plus P24 and P12 paced challenges. Off-road course, camping included and limited Bell Tent upgrades.

A two lap, undulating trail event on privately owned farmland near Blandford Forum. The Apple Plod 10K.ish welcomes runners and walkers, has limited entry, and offers optional camping over the weekend.

A chip timed 10 km race around Highfield Park and the Alban Way in St Albans on 19 July 2026. The event village features a free family fun run, kids zone, live music and a charity partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Trail races of 10 miles and 5 miles on hard packed paths through Ashdown Forest near Pippingford Park Manor, featuring 1568 ft of climbing, notable downhills and views across The Downs, with medals, winner vouchers and free parking.

Tour of the Woods on 19 July at Knightwood Leisure Centre is a 10 km mixed terrain run split into five stages, with chip timing, prizes and a kids Twiglet Tour. Portions of proceeds support the Woodland Trust.

A muddy 5k obstacle event at Hylands Park, Chelmsford on 19 July 2026 featuring climb, crawl and slide elements in staggered waves. Participants must be 13 or older and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.

Trail running from Queen Elizabeth Country Park across the South Downs with *50K*, *25K* and *12K* options on 26 July 2026. The event is TRA licensed and includes marked routes, aid stations and on site facilities.

Bright Skies Surrey Hills is a daytime trail event at Denbies Wine Estate with marathon, half marathon, 10K and children's races. The marathon features a self navigation first half with checkpoints and a fully marked second half.

A circular half marathon trail run on the Ridgeway that visits Ashdown House and the original White Horse Hill. The route is described as undulating and the event is held under UK Athletics rules with a Trail Running Association permit.
