Amport Trail Run 2026

The Amport Trail Run takes place at Amport Cricket Club, Monxton Road, Amport (near Andover SP11 8BA) on Sunday 27th September 2026. The event is organised by the Muddy Runners on behalf of the Amport Cricket Club and uses multi terrain routes through the Hampshire countryside.

Entry is pre-registration only; there will be no entries on the day. Entry closes 10pm on Saturday 26th September. Age limits apply: 5k entrants must be 7 years or older, 10k entrants must be 12 years or older, and 10 mile entrants must be 17 years or older. All 5k runners under 11 must be accompanied on the route by a responsible adult who holds their own entry.

Routes are undulating and hilly, with trail, tarmac, dirt and single-track sections. The course includes obstacles such as overhanging trees, uneven and muddy ground, holes and ruts, and a single road crossing at the start and finish; marshals and route markers will be in place. Headphones are permitted on most sections but must be removed when crossing or alongside any road or when directed by a marshal.

Facilities include toilets, first aid on course and at the finish, post-race refreshments for purchase, and medals and prizes for finishers. Parking is in the cricket club parking area as directed by marshals. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own cup or bottle for on-course water. A timed, lap format run along The Itchen Way in Winchester with a professionally measured, permitted course. Runners may complete multiple 2.62 mile laps up to ultra distance and receive a bespoke finisher's medal and aid station provisions..

Trail races from Queen Elizabeth Country Park across sections of the South Downs Way, offered at 12K, 25K and 50K, with marked routes, stocked aid stations, marshals and a serviced event village plus chip timing and finish medals.

A circular half marathon trail run on the Ridgeway that visits Ashdown House and the original White Horse Hill. The route is described as undulating and the event is held under UK Athletics rules with a Trail Running Association permit.

A volunteer run 10 mile multi terrain race across the South Downs with mile markers, two water stations and precision chip timing. Finishers get a unique medal and there is a free kids fun run plus homemade cakes at the pavilion.
