Amport Trail Run 2026
The Amport Trail Run is organised by the Muddy Runners on behalf of Amport Cricket Club and takes place in the Amport area of Hampshire on Sunday 27 September 2026. The event offers multi terrain running on trails that include tarmac, dirt and single tracks and runs through the Hampshire countryside.
Distances
- 5k
- 10k
- Canicross
Entry is by pre registration only and entries close at 22:00 on Saturday 26 September. Early bird and late entry prices are specified for the 5k and 10k races. Age limits apply: 10k entrants must be 12 years or older; 5k entrants must be 7 years or older. Any 5k entrant under 11 must be accompanied on the route by a responsible adult who holds a separate entry.
Canicross and running with dogs are allowed under specific conditions. Dog handlers must hold public liability insurance for their dog, carry bags to clean up, carry water for the dog and use appropriate harness and bungee lead equipment. Dogs start in a separate wave and will not be allowed to run if the effective temperature is at or above 18 degrees Celsius. The race director’s decision is final.
Routes are undulating and hilly with obstacles such as overhanging branches, mud and ruts. The course is marked with kilometre markers, tape and marshals; there is a single road crossing on each route. Headphones are permitted on most sections but must be removed when crossing or running alongside any road or when a marshal is visible.
Facilities at the race HQ include toilets, first aid at the finish and on course, cupless water provision so entrants should bring a cup or bottle, post race refreshments for purchase, and medals and prizes for finishers. There is no bag drop. Parking is in the cricket club parking area as directed by marshals; do not drive on the cricket pitch. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
