The One on the Trail Marlow

The event is a multi‑terrain trail run starting near Temple Lane in Bisham and following the River Thames between Marlow and Henley before looping back through countryside and woodland paths. Courses are waymarked and marshalled.

Distances offered:

  • Half Marathon age 17 and over
  • 10k age 17 and over
  • 1k Little Sprinters all ages

Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. There are two water stations on the route; 10k runners pass the first station once and half marathon runners pass both stations twice. Water will be served in cups and additional water is available in the event village for bottle refills.

Facilities in the event village include medical cover, a bag drop, catering and portable toilets. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Event photography is expected to be available, usually within 24 hours. Race pack collection is handled at the event village registration tent and on‑the‑day registration may be available.

Spectators are permitted in the start and finish area and around the route. Participants must not be accompanied by privately owned dogs; registered medical assistance dogs may be accepted with prior approval. The terrain is not suitable for buggies, pushchairs, strollers or wheelchairs. Noise cancelling earphones are prohibited and other earphones should allow officials to be heard. An evening trail event at Wendover Woods on 18 July 2026 raising funds for the Chilterns Neuro Centre. It offers 10K, 5K and an accessible 1.5K with marked routes, chip timing and on-course support.

A muddy 5k obstacle course at Stoke Park in Guildford on 18 July 2026 with staggered wave starts. Entry fees and a minimum fundraising target apply; participants must be 13 or older.

A group trail run from Dorking Station through Denbies Wine Estate and the North Downs, followed by stone baked pizza and a guided Denbies wine tasting. Options include an 8 km loop or a 5 km walk.

A chip timed 10 km race around Highfield Park and the Alban Way in St Albans on 19 July 2026. The event village features a free family fun run, kids zone, live music and a charity partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK.
