South Downs 100 mile (Autumn Event)

The South Downs 100 mile is a single-loop trail race through the South Downs National Park. The event is based at Plumpton Racecourse in Lewes, East Sussex. The course includes more than 12,000 ft of elevation, rolling hills and multiple viewpoints. There are 12 aid stations positioned along the route and a 34 hour cutoff time. Free onsite camping is provided over the weekend.

The 100 mile race is part of the South Downs Triple Crown, a challenge beginning in 2025 that requires completing three ultra distance races within the calendar year. A combined entry covering four Centurion Running 50 mile races in 2026, each held on a different date. Minimum age 20, entry fee listed, with an optional XCover refund option and published terms and policies.

A 50 mile ultramarathon along the South Downs Way National Trail from Worthing to Eastbourne. Experience 5,700 feet of elevation gain across rolling chalk paths and finish with a lap of an athletics track.

Trail races on the South Downs Way around Stanmer with 21 km, 14 km and 5 km options. Routes pass Ditchling Beacon and include chip timing, a finisher medal, GPX files and on-course support for the longer distances.

Experience a unique 42km journey starting in the woodland trails of Stanmer Park and the South Downs before joining the road for a grand seaside finish at Hove Lawns.
