Manuden 10K : 27 September 2026

The Manuden community running event on 27 September 2026 comprises a 10k run, a 5k run and a 1k race. The events are held under Association of Running Clubs (ARC) rules and a permit number is to be confirmed.

Medals are awarded to all runners who complete any of the races. Water stations are provided en route at 2 km, 4 km, 6 km, 8 km and at the finish. First aiders will be in attendance.

Parking is available near the start and finish in the field by the Yew Tree pub. Registration takes place nearby at the Yew Tree Inn, where changing facilities and toilets are provided. Entries are accepted on the day; advance entries must be received by Saturday 20th September.

The 1k course is on Rickling Road. The start and the first part of the 10k and 5k are also on Rickling Road, which will be closed for the duration of the events. Shortly after the start the 10k and 5k leave the road and continue on bridleways and footpaths until the finish. The approximate postcode for the start area is CM23 1DY.

Funds raised by the event in 2026 will be shared between Sands, St Clare Hospice and Manuden village organisations. In 2025 nearly £2200 was raised and shared between St Clare Hospice and village organisations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
