Manuden 10k, 5k and 1k : event overview

The Manuden run takes place on 27 Sep 2026 and uses mainly off road routes across the fields that surround Manuden. The approximate post code for the starting area is CM23 1DY.

Medals are given to all runners who complete any of the runs. Water stations are provided on the route and at the finish. A digital clock will be present at the start and finish, but competitors are responsible for their own timings.

Car parking is available near the start and finish in the field by the Yew Tree pub. Registration is located nearby at the Yew Tree pub, where there are changing facilities and toilets. Refreshments will be on sale at the pub during and after the event.

First aid training associates will be in attendance. The events are run under the Association of Running Clubs rules. Age requirements apply for unaccompanied participation: 10k runners must be 15 on or before 27 Sep 2026 and 5k runners must be 13 on or before that date. Children aged 8 to 13 may run the 5k if accompanied by an adult on the route.

If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the organisers control entry fees will not be refunded but all profits will be donated to the Manuden Running Club chosen charity. Trail runs nearby

A timed endurance event at Redbridge Cycling Centre where competitors run a 4.2 mile (6.7 km) loop every hour and must finish each loop within the hour. After extensive loops a final straight race decides the winner.

Track-based running at Wodson Park in Ware, with distances from *5k* to a 6 hour challenge on a 400 metre athletics track, chip timing, aid stations, and on-track viewing for supporters.

An evening marathon that follows canals, waterfalls, vineyards, woodland and coastal saltmarshes, running from early evening into the night. Registration for the 2026 edition is closed.

A narrative, self-navigation trail race of about 7 miles on 6 June 2026, run under UK Athletics rules with a permit from the Trail Running Association. Race HQ is in the fete field and each entry includes a £3 tea tent voucher.
