The Hard Yard takes place on Saturday 26th September 2026 at Chilton Manor Farm, Chilton Candover, Alresford SO24 9TX (access to event parking via Dundridge Lane; What3Words ///silver.formless.obstruct). The 10 mile route uses wide gravel tracks, shale paths, field sidings and compact rural paths, and includes single-track sections through Furzedown Wood with views toward Winchester and the South Downs. The finishing straight is a 1 mile Yew tree-lined avenue. Water is provided at the start, finish and halfway on the 10 mile route. Race services include sustainable finishers medals, race timing with live results, race photography and event medics. The site has a pop-up cafe and The Yard Cafe, toilets near the start and finish, event parking (paid at the gate) and no secure baggage area.
