The Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge takes place on Saturday 26 September 2026 with Henley Showground as basecamp. The event uses looped routes around the Chilterns, passing historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and viewpoints. The Henley basecamp includes on-site camping, parking, a Saturday night meal and bar, and shuttle bus transfers to the nearest train station. The route is fully signed and uses GPS tracking via the event app. Timing checkpoints scan participants at rest stops and progress is monitored by a control room. Categories include an Ultra March option and a Trailblazerz option for faster, competitive runners, plus a Solo Challenger start time.

- 50 km loop - 920 m elevation
- 25 km loop - 500 m elevation
- 10 km loop - ~235 m elevation
Rest stops are provided approximately every 12.5 km, with main meals around every 25 km and larger covered rest stops at key distances. All stops supply hot drinks, water, energy drinks, and snacks, and cater for dietary requirements. Medical, paramedic, podiatry, and massage support are available at rest stops and along the route.
