The Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge takes place on Saturday 26 September 2026 with a basecamp at Henley Showground. The event uses looped routes through Chilterns countryside, including historic trails, rolling hills and nature reserves. It is offered as walk, jog, or run and includes a Solo Challenger start option, an Ultra March category for walkers, and a new Trailblazerz option for faster competitive runners. On-site services at Henley basecamp include camping packages, parking, a Saturday evening meal and bar, transfers and shuttle buses to the nearest train station.

The route is fully signed and marked with pink arrows and glow-sticks at night, and an event app provides Google maps and GPS tracking. Rest stops appear about every 12.5 km with major stops at approximately 25 km and 50 km; main meals are provided about every 25 km. Rest stops include covered areas, toilets, medical support, changing rooms and baggage pickup. Medical provision includes doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists and masseuses.
