SOX 10km - 13 September 2026

SOX 10km is a multi terrain running event based at Ridgeway View Campsite near Wallingford (OX10 8BP). The event offers two distance options:

10 km multi terrain run
Canicross 10 km

The route uses a mix of private terrain, trails, woodlands, fields and local roads, with approximately 75% off road and about 100 m of elevation gain. The organiser provides chip timing, race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop. There are two water refill stations on the course; the event is cupless.

Finishers receive a medal, a pint cup and a free drink which can be alcoholic, non-alcoholic or taken away. The event is part of the Ales & Trails series and includes on-site street food and an option to camp at the venue the night before. Minimum age to enter is 16. The published entry fee range is £30 to £32 and entries may close on 9 September if capacity is reached earlier. A two hour cut off is stated, and free downloadable race photos are available after the event. The event also supports fundraising for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
