SOX 10km

SOX 10km is a multi terrain running event on September 13th 2026 based at Ridgeway View Campsite near Wallingford, OX10 8BP. The event returns for its third edition and includes both a standard 10 km race and a Canicross 10 km.

The route uses a mix of usually private terrain, trails, woodlands, fields and local roads. The course is largely off road, with approximately 75% off road and around 100 m of elevation gain. There are two water refill stations on route and the event is cupless.

Entries are listed at £30-32 and close on September 9th if capacity is not reached. The minimum age is 16 and there is a 2 hour cut off time that allows for walking pace. Camping on site is available for the Saturday night.

Included with entry are a medal, chip timing, a pint cup and a free drink at the finish with alcoholic or non-alcoholic options. Other included services are free downloadable race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop. The event is part of the Ales & Trails series and supports fundraising for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
