SOX 10km

SOX 10km is a multi terrain running event held at Ridgeway View Campsite near Wallingford on September 13, 2026. The event offers a standard running race and a canicross category, both over 10 km. The route uses private terrain, trails, woodlands, fields and local roads and is approximately 75% off road with around 100 m of elevation gain.

Entries are priced between £30 and £32 and the minimum age is 16. The event is part of the Ales & Trails series and the finish at the campsite includes a medal, a pint cup and one free drink, with alcoholic and non alcoholic options included in the entry fee. The race provides chip timing, downloadable race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop. There are two water refill stations on route and the event is cupless. A two hour cut off time is applied and allows for walking pace.

Additional details: a camping option is available at the campsite for the Saturday night, street food will be present on the day and the event supports fundraising for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
