The Endless Garden 2.0 – A Backyard Ultra Marathon

The event is a backyard ultra held at The Waggoners pub in Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom. Runners complete a repeating loop of 4.167-mile (6.71 km) each hour; each new loop begins on the hour and runners must finish within the hour to continue. The race continues until only one runner completes a loop alone.

Entry requires a fee of £70. Included with entry are five drink vouchers (half pints, soft drinks, hot drinks), a commemorative pint glass and official race timing provided by racesonline.uk. The race winner is noted as receiving a prize described as something cool and mainly glory.

The course follows a mixture of road, sealed paths and trail and is designed to be runnable throughout the night. A route map will be provided ahead of race day.

Spectators are welcome at all times. The Waggoners pub remains open during the event; drinks are available at bar prices. The pub offers an athletes menu including an "Endless Backyard" set menu with pizzas and snacks. Limited personal and group marquee space is available behind the pub on a first in, first served basis, and the adjacent field will also be open for marquees and tents. Spaces are unallocated, so early arrival is recommended to secure a spot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
