2026 London South East Spartan Weekend

The event is held at Pippingford Park, Pippingford Estate in Nutley, East Sussex on 26 and 27 September 2026. The course uses rolling hills and countryside trails and includes sections where participants are likely to get wet. The venue previously hosted the European Championships and may feature local wildlife such as ponies.

Races cover a range of distances and obstacle counts:

  • Sprint - 5 km, 20 obstacles
  • Super - 10 km, 25 obstacles
  • Beast - 21 km, 30 obstacles
  • Ultra - 50 km, 60 obstacles
  • Kids Race - 1 to 3 km with obstacles

The British OCR Ultra Championship is incorporated into the Spartan London South East Ultra. All British citizens and residents registered for the Ultra are automatically entered into British OCR Ultra Championship competition across elite and age-group categories. British Obstacle Sports and Spartan UK continue a partnership focused on event delivery, technical official development, and athlete pathways. British Obstacle Sports membership is required for all Spartan Race competitive heats; new members were offered a 30 percent discount with a registration code. Trail runs nearby

Point to point races across the South Downs National Park finishing at Beachy Head and Eastbourne, with distances from a half marathon to 100k, marked routes, aid stations and finish-area amenities.

A single loop trail half marathon from Eastbourne through the South Downs covering 13.5 miles and about 2,000 feet of ascent, mostly on grassy and forest trails; the event includes live chip timing, one aid station and a finisher medal.
