2026 London South East Spartan Weekend

The London South East Spartan Weekend takes place at Pippingford Park within the Pippingford Estate in Nutley, East Sussex. This venue, situated approximately 90 minutes from London, features a landscape of rolling hills, countryside views, and rugged trails. The event previously hosted the European Championships and incorporates various water features throughout the courses.

Participants can choose from several distances and obstacle formats:

  • Sprint 5K: A course covering 5 km with 20 obstacles.
  • Super 10K: A course covering 10 km with 25 obstacles.
  • Beast 21K: A course covering 21 km with 30 obstacles.
  • Ultra 50K: A course covering 50 km with 60 obstacles.
  • Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1-3 km including obstacles.

The 50K Ultra race on 26 September 2026 also serves as the British OCR Ultra Championship. All British citizens and residents registered for the Ultra distance are automatically entered into the championship categories, which include elite and age group divisions.

The weekend is designated as a Trifecta Weekend, allowing participants the opportunity to complete a Sprint, Super, and Beast within a single weekend. Competitors in competitive heats must hold a British Obstacle Sports (BOS) membership. The venue includes spectator areas for non-participants.
