Join the Calderdale Way Relay on Sun 17 May 2026 for a scenic but savage 80.5 km team challenge across the South West Pennines with 3660 m of climb. Teams of 12, pre entry only, runners run in pairs and strict kit rules apply.

Tackle the classic Mearley Clough Fell Race near Clitheroe, a short but sharp 5.6 km climb across scenic South Pennine fell. Entry on the day and a warming pasta supper make this a friendly, bite sized challenge.

Challenge the Latterbarrow Loop fell race in the Lake District on Wednesday 20 May 2026, a punchy 4.8 km loop from Cold Fell Gate with 250 m of climb. Entry on the day is £5, places limited to 100 and every finisher gets a prize.

Tackle a classic Pennine fell on Wed 20 May 2026 in Kildwick, starting at the White Lion. This punchy 6 km course with 245 m climb delivers steep ups, junior races and a friendly crowd; pre entry is available and parking is limited.

Run the Dun Holm Challenge in Durham on scenic trails along the River Wear with stunning cathedral views. Choose distances from a 3 km minimum to ultras or take the multi day Time Challenge, earn themed medals and enjoy lap aid stations.

A chip-timed fell running event at Sale Fell on 23 May 2026 offering a senior 6 mile race and a range of junior distances from 1 km to 6 km, with age grading per FRA rules and prizes for individual and team categories.

Race scenic but testing trails through Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District on 24 May 2026, with panoramic lake and mountain views plus steep climbs and fast descents. Half marathon or 10K, medal, refreshments and canicross welcome.

A short but testing fell race in Coniston, about 1.6 km with roughly 270 m of climb, featuring a steep ascent and a scree descent. It is a BOFRA counter with on the day entry and races for junior categories.

Take on the Glaramara Fell Race on Sun 24 May 2026 in the Lake District, starting from Glaramara Outdoor Centre at Seatoller. The 8 km course packs 700 m of climb and entry on the day is free with donations to charity.
